Return submission may be lost

I had 1 submission shipped back to me on July 25th and 2 shipped back to me on July 26th. I have the PSA emails with the tracking numbers. I received both shipments from July 26th but not the one from the 25th. Also, when I enter the tracking number on the USPS web site that PSA emailed me, it says that there is record of this item. Will I be collecting the insurance money or is there a chance I will still get it.
Thanks,
Bob

Been there, done that. Don't worry about it not showing up on the internet OR the intranet...registered packages aren't always scanned into the system even though they should be. However, if you're really worried you can call psa's local post office and ask to speak to someone in the registry. They'll be able to look up the RE number and see when it was received and shipped out, who signed for it, blah, blah, blah. Or you could call your main post office and do the same thing. I would give it more time, though.

I had a registered package take over three weeks to arrive, and it had actually reached my city about two and a half weeks prior to delivery.

Same thing has happened to me. Registred mail is flaky. I've had them at my doorstep within 5 days and others that took close to 20. There is no rhyme or reason that I can tell.

if they can't find it in the system pm me the tracking # (RE********) and I'll see what I can find on the postal intranet (not the same as the internet)

I've also noticed that the larger subs seem to arrive quicker (they are shipped registered priority mial) than the smaller subs (they are shipped registered first class mail). I had two subs shipped out the same day last week and the larger one took only 3 days while the smaller one took 8 days.
