OT- too hot to deal with coins

I just spent 10 minutes in the back yard gardening and I'm literally swimming with sweat.

It's in the mid to upper 90's and humid and tonight at 11:00 pm the low is supposed to be in the 80's.

I'm dripping on the computer and my desk doing auctions but I can't stand it- I'm going in the pool-arivederci!

Now its 9:00 PM and I'm dying of heat.

I've taken off my trunks and my wife is horrified that I'm in the pool naked.

How can that be bad?

Ecoutez-moi, les Anglais sont un peu particulare, les Americans aussi. Quand quelqu'un n'a pas son maillot de bains, on tourne la tete, pas grand chose.

Mais ici on regarde, on devisage, etc. Pas amusant...

OK, sorry to go off on that but it brings me to a moment when as a child in the south of France at the beach I pointed out a women's nudity to my mother. She looked up from her book, shrugged, and said "Give madame her privacy", and went back to her Stendahl. At that point the woman could have been fully clothed because while someone might glance at her no one stared.
