72 topps FB packs and gum size

Hi all, it is very good to have found this board. I hope to contribute as much as I take away.
I have some ungraded 72 topps FB packs that look legit based on my limited knowledge. I got them off of ebay last year. I opened one and the cards were in fresh and great shape, things looked OK. But, the bubble gum is slightly smaller than the typical gum size I see and recall from other topps packs of that era - including other 72 FB packs I have picked up. So, does anyone know if topps used different gum sizes for some packs back in 72? Or, is having the smaller gum size a bad sign for me? I look forward to any and all blunt responses.
Thanks
Rick

The cards look reallly good. I can tell the rest of the packs have the same smaller gum.
Thanks.

<< <i>It has been a good year and a half since I opened one of those but I remember the gum is a different size than normal. I also remembered it foamed in my mouth when I ate it. >>
Foamed in your mouth......oh yeah!
