Some reimages (and a few not imaged before)

Reimaged some of the coins from my ICG submission. Also a few you've not seen before.
Canada 50 Cents 1894. Now that I have this back in hand, I can see why ICG bodybagged it; those surfaces on the reverse are a bit beat up. Nevertheless it's a nice VG/F example of the second-lowest minted Victorian half (only 29,000 minted).

Italy Lira 1867 MB-N. I'm still pissed that this didn't get a PL. The coin isn't this dark; I just wanted to show the contrast between device and field. It's actually incredibly flashy and brilliant.

Great Britain Florin, 1911. I *LOVE* this coin. Was a Harlan Berk purchase. One of the focal points of my toner collection.

Bohemia - Kuttenberg, 24 Kreuzer, 1619. I actually think ICG missed the boat on this one. Given the lustre, I think it's actually an AU50 with the flatness being strike, not wear. 90-degree rotated die.

And lastly one that I just love...
Great Britain Halfcrown 1707-E. Not an easy type to find in high grade.

<< <i>The 1894 fifty cent piece is a very difficult coin to find. Any piece is a nice piece. For those that have read my book, you already know that almost all of the 1894 fifty cent pieces were minted from melted 1858 twenty cent pieces.
Are there any estimates of the number of surviving pieces? With that few to start with, I would think that there aren't a whole lot out there...
This actually was a local find. I've had it for about 10 years.

I also just sent them an order of 9 U.S. Morgan dollars under their 2-day service... will be interesting to see how accurate that turnaround is.
