No decision/refund on the 28-S likely means that PCGS cannot determine the date/MM of the coin. But, the rim on the 28P and 28S are different, so is the actual date that worn?

That coin is actually a 28, not a 28S and was submitted a 7373 28 Peace and not as 7374 28S. The date is identifiable as a 28.
Why they changed it to a #7374 28S on the order is unknown to me.
The problem with well worn Peace dollars is that when they are well worn it is hard to determine whether it is a mintmarked coin with the M/M worn smooth or a Philly coin.
I wasn't aware that the rims are different on a 28 and 28S. If the rims are well worn how can they determine which it is?
That's the second time that coin has been returned "No Descision/Refund".

Here's my raw images of the 81.
Another day or two in circulation and I don't think you would have been able to determine it was an 81.

I have a 1833 dime that will probably grade PO01. I had no idea people wanted lowest graded coins. I'll look for it and post scans in a couple hours.

Tough call on that 81CC.......the reverse is clearly not a poor and the obverse could go either way - you probably got a bit of a gift on this one. I sympathize on the Peace $1's - the MM coins are tough in FRo2 and BRUTAL to make in PO01 for the very reason you noted! Nice submission and good adder to you set(s).
