Forget the drinks. Buy me a few lottery tickets instead!
I am hoping to do better with the MS.

Did you submit them in their capsules or in 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"s?

Sent them in capsules put in flips. Didn't want to risk slide marks.

In revealing this, I'm reminded of the old saying, "no good deed goes unpunished."

PS...I have 99 Proof President sets in the queue for First Strike Grading at bulk rates...if I get only a 2% PR70 pass thru, it's a winner. If not, I'll sell my other 2 boxes of 99 sets (First Strike eligible) sealed.
<< <i>I've ALMOST given up on submissions after sending in 10 2007 Proof Buffaloes for FS grading and all 10 came back 69. I'm flipping my First Spouse coins Mint Sealed....

I hope yours aren't from the same batch as the junk I received. Poor cleaning and sneeze marks. I sent mine all back to the mint.

I guess it would have been nice if a few more of the proofs had made it to PR70, though. Guess I'm going to eBay...

My sealed box of 5 MW proofs yielded 1 PF70. It looks like the current percentage of MW PF70DC FS is running a hair over 14% of the total pop. submitted thus far.

For what it's worth, I made the 'mistake' of ordering a state quarter box with this order. Two of my Marthas were packaged with the box (the other 18 coins came in 5 or 6 other boxes). So I'd opened the 'big' box and found the two coins. Rather than send all of those other sealed boxes in at a later time, and the two Marthas immediately for First Strike, I opened all the boxes, and sent all 20 in at the same time.
I live in LA, but I'm a consultant, working in DC right now. I didn't have time over that weekend (almost 3 weeks ago) to send the stuff in, so I carried the coins with me to DC and mailed 'em from here (which, of course, took over a week - ugh). Since I mailed them on the 17th, but PCGS didn't receive them until the 26th, they SHOULD still get First Strike, right?
And I'll always wonder if some of them might have turned out better if they hadn't been rattling around (in their capsules, of course) somewhat loose in my carry-on on that cross-country flight. :-
