However, Lucania is also in the lower part of Italy, and a city by the name of Herakleia issued coins with Athena on the obverse and Hercules strangling the Lion on the reverse.

The coin does look to be the size of a diobol and is probably worth $25 to $50 Wildwinds pricing Herakleia
BTW: Tarentum is the roman name of the Greek city Taras. History

I think your valuation could be a tad bit low depending on how it faces up in person, because I'd gladly pay $25.00 based on the photo. That chip on the edge is not the most attractive, but it's not horrible.
