Does anybody know where I can find a list of all the 1990 Pro Set errors? Also, if anybody knows which ones are the most sought after it would help as well. Thanks.

    You guys have got to be kidding!! The planets must be aligned! I was also asking about 1990 Pro Set erros and have had 3 people ask me about the same thing! image

    I bet if you subscribe to online football beckett you could scan through the set and find all the errors in there? Or at least a good share of them. I know there are a lot.

    now that I think about it, I remember reading somewhere about people talking about 1990 Pro Set errors just today. that is just frikkin weird

    from just looking in the B book lol-the only error is see that is worth anything accrding to them is 772a dexter manley is 30.00,there is also a list of variations here, dont know if this is what you r looking for or not, but i like to type lmao,not!18a/18b/21a/21b/25a.25b/152a/152b/785a/785b/221a/632a/732a/289b/319a/343a/449a/657a/632b/633a/633b/744a/-these are only 50-75 cents and also just noticed a line of em that are 10.00 each-289a/449b/657b/744b/772b hope that hleps ya find something, now if ya can out find out what one is a and b!

    i tried looking at Beckett online, and for a lot of them they just say ERR and COR, but on others its more detailed..

    i asked someone about 3 cards earlier, and this is what i found out:

    for the Barry Sanders card, Beckett just says "HAWAII" beside the most expensive card, so i dunno if it has a stripe on the front or what.. we should ask Lawnmowerman since he's a Barry Sanders collector.

    i know on Fred Marions card it looks like John Taylor has a big dong hanging out in the background.

    Ok here is a list that I just made from Beckett online and an old Standard Catalog from 1997.

    There was a couple in the book that Beckett doesn't list and anything with ????? I have no clue at all as to what the error is.

    I'm busting a box of early run 1990 Pro Set and I really have no idea what to look for. I have the #2 Montana error (Jim Kelly's passing yards are wrong on the back), but other than that I can't find anything. Unfortunately I only got the corrected Fred Marion card (the error is John Taylor's belt looks like he's excited).

    Not much help for you, but the list was pretty extensive.

    Doing this from memory, but wasn't there a card (Dickerson? #337 or #338 or something) that they finally included a year or two later?

    ---Seems like it was a send away, or included in a later product, or something. Anyone remember the details?


    Have to admit they were nice cards in their day. Shame no one understood they made exactly nine bazillion of each card.

    CDsNuts, is there something on the boxes telling you that your stuff is early run or do you just know?
    I have a bunch of these boxes laying around (as I'm sure many of us do) and I'm curious if I may have anything in there.

    hallmark- I bought a bunch of stuff from a seller and he listed it as an error box. I'm not sure if there's a way to tell or not, or if he just opened one of the boxes out of the case to find out. I found most of the listed errors in the box, with the exception of Marion, Dickerson, Franco Harris and Rison. Most of them are potential 10s so I'll be submitting just to see if there's any demand for PSA graded errors. I'm sure the Montana in PSA 10 would bring good money.

    Also, I have a few random Gant's I'm sending to PSA. You'll be the first to know if they come back 10s. Well, I might tell pandrews also.

    Dickerson was in packs in the earliest of boxes. It was pulled pretty quickly. They went for some decent money back in the day. Now, about 3-5 bucks a piece, I believe. I have a few if anyone is interested in owning one.

    I remember ripping this stuff like mad looking for a Lombardi Hologram.

    The Payne Stewart was a constant in the set. Considered and SP like the Santa Claus card. If I remember correctly, one about every 2-3 boxes.

    Eric Dickerson #338: Because of a squabble over what card companies he wanted to appear with, Eric Dickerson was not to appear in any 1990 card sets. Pro Set already had a card of him created, however, and was forced to pull them by hand from series 1.

    I remember that card going for a bit and never bought or found one.
