Is this Nolan Ryan card really a 10? What grade would u give it?

Wow! Sixty 1981 Fleer #57 Ryan cards received the lofty grade of PSA 10. How many really deserved that high grade? image

We keep hearing "buy the card not the holder".

    It might be within PSA 10 range for centering, but it is off both T/B and L/R.

    Yeah, it has a tilt. It does look within PSA centering guidelines for a 10, but as with other like centered cards that have been posted lately....I do not think a tilt should get a 10.

    Indeed, 1981 Fleer had MAJOR problems with cutting the cards straight as well as the tilted borders. Then of course you have the infamous fuzzy pictures of 1982 (but I do LOVE the back design that year).

    Actually I do not think there is tilt, it is just straight in the holder.

    The card is not perfectly centered, but it is definitely within a 10's parameters.

    It doesnt have 10 EYE APPEAL so it should have no doubt been a 9 even if everything but the centering was perfect
