Need friends....

Hi, I feel so pathetic asking this question. My wife and I just moved here 6 weeks ago. We now live in Indiana and I know no one except my brother in law. He hates sports. I have no one to talk to about this stuff and now no one to trade with or meet up at a card shop to shoot the poop with. Anyone here in Indiana near Indy or Terre Haute?

You're not pathetic, it's Indiana--just sucks the blood right outta ya. I'm shutting the computer down for the night, but send me a PM with your e-mail & I'll get back with you. I work 7 days a week, sometimes 8, but I"m sure we could hook up at a card show or something.

LOL, looking back at the post now...it does seem pretty sad for myself-ish. Lawnmowerman, thanks for the bear. Made me feel really loved.

I'm gonna go watch some Sesame Street now. I'll be back a little later to see if anyone else replies. Till then...

i know what ya mean matt!aquantanances are alot, but true friends are hard to find ,crazy vets dont get along with people real well in person lol, i got one good friend in wv, and hes just like me,a nutburger lol-he the one with the rocketlauncher we blew my trailer up with lol,true friend have nice weapons

The problem is I live between Indy and Terre Haute, but I don't know either one well. I used to live in Bloomington, but there aren't any shops or shows there. I'm really horrible with directions, so I would probably just end up getting lost if I went anywhere. But, I would really love to get to some stores or some shows. I just have no idea where any are that are "good" by our standards.

sounds like me , ill drive down the road and forget where im going lol,need me a gps that talks like they have on tv, and my wife to pin notes on me like a kid lol,used to be good, now im about as sharp as a bowling ball!
