What are the advantages of submitting cards in person at the National?

Do they have walk-up specials, or do you just save freight one way? Anything else good or bad I'm not aware of?

1. You dont have to pay shipping for the package to arrive
2. Usually no trips to the problem shelf
3. You can talk to the reps and ask all the questions that get asked here.

not sure you will meet BJ or Cosetta. My understanding when I had some emails with BJ is that she is down in Texas, not CA. Not sure that the set registry staff would go to a card show, even the national. They do not have anything to do with grading from my understanding.

4. your card will probably be graded before Christmas
3. You can really beg and cry for a better grade.
2. You can slip the grader an extra 50 for bumping that 6 to a 9.
1. If you don't like the grade you can punch the grader

But they aren't going to grade them on site are they? I was thinking about a few cards on the 13/5 special, not an immmediate grade.

Or cover all the bases and have SGC slab it and GAI authenticate it. Then send back to PSA and see if they say it's fake

they will grade them on site if you pay at that service level. for the $13 special they just take them back to CA with them.
