PayPal alternative. Is this legit?

I was looking at paypalsucks.net and some other anti paypal sites and there are some new companies that will process your credit card sales for less than paypal. Just have to get enough buyers to pony up with it. It apparently does not make you provide confirmation and stuff, no so much a tool for scammers as it looks like a good alternative for sellers gettin drilled daily by paypal.
Paypalwarning.comCheck out the service site that they link to and see if you guys think it is legit. I was considering switching but thought I would post here first and get group feedback. What do you guys think?

Why not try Google checkout. It's free until 2008, and even when it becomes a pay service in 2008 it will be less fees than paypal. You cant advertise in your eBay auctions that you accept it as a form of payment, but you can mention it in your winning bidder email. No requesting of any funds or upgrading to be able to withdraw a certain amount per month. They automatically send each transaction to your back account within 2 days. I've used it since 2007 started, and have saved a ton in fees. Just my 2 cents.

  • I refuse to use Google the main processor they use for their CCs has been hacked many times in the past and has had a history of problems. Until they change their processor I refuse to use them. No Paypal equals NO BID for me.

Sure there are alot of horror stories about Paypal, but what about the millions that go off everyday without a hitch. People only talk about the bad things nobody ever talks about good.

You anger one customer you actually anger 13, you satisfy one customer you satisfy. ONE.

The website Paypalwarning is wrong, since the lawsuit that Paypal settles in 2006 with 12 states the can no longer just freeze an account they have to be able to prove the member is doing wrong. They also cannot just go into your bank account or credit card without your permission.(They do hide that "permission" sometimes so you gotta watch it)

Read Googles terms of use. If you get a chargeback using them they will remove it from your bank account and hold it until you win or lose the dipsute. The process is the same as Paypals. Paypal just freezes the amount in dispute from your account although the one I just won with Paypal last month for 42.00 they never froze anything
