SMR unopened pack price guide...end of the line for gai?

It was a nice surprise to see an unnopened pack price guide in the latest smr. Gai for years promised on but has always dropped the ball. Back in 2000-2001 when gai started pack grading, pack prices went out of sight. I think another new era will start soon again with PSA . I can see the prices for packs doing that big rise again. I think older wax boxes may become even harder and pricier to get soon if the boxes get broken to grade single packs. Any thoughts?

glad to see psa get into it, gai is the biggest rip off, i cut open a 1976 pack hoping to get some decent cards if just commons to grade, and i opened the pack, the seal was broke, and it had 3 1975 topps cards in it instead lol, i was pretty well pizzed off,i would never buy anything gai after that, you would think the geeks could tell a full pack from one with 3 cards in it,but i guess not!
