Are these VAM's?

Looking through a few of my dupes I noticed these 'marks'.
Wondering if they're VAM's.

My guess is the 99-S is just a hit from another Morgan, but...

All Morgans are VAM's of one sort or another.

As I understand it, Van Allen & Mallis set out to catalog all the different dies used on (in this case) Morgans, so every Morgan is a VAM.
OK, how about this, are these recognized as VAM's with a premium? image

I'm not certain, but I believe that for a clashed Morgan to have much of a premium to the VAMmers that there has to be a clashed letter or letters present, except for that one where there is a triple clash.

    1883 -- Not likely. I cannot think of any 1883 premium-bearing clashes.

1898-O -- Not a chance. A motto letter transfer to the obverse is practically impossible based on the neck clash at the eagle's wing. I have also seen so many of this psrticular clash to know it is quite common.

1899-S -- Yes, you are right, nothing die-related going on there.
