If this is true maybe just make the stuff legal bc it seems everyone does it. whos next tiger woods?
When Jose Canseco wrote "Juiced" in 2005, he brought the issue of steroids in Major League Baseball to the forefront. Now, Canseco has another book due this fall and he promises some juicy info on Alex Rodriguez.
Canseco told WEEI-Radio in Boston on Friday that he has "other stuff" on the Yankees slugger, who he called a "hypocrite" who "was not all he appeared to be."
When asked if A-Rod had used steroids, Canseco told WEEI, "Wait and see."
"Jose has information about A-Rod and the Yankees that will be in the book. But, I am not sure if Jose is willing to disclose it at this point," Canseco's lawyer, Robert O. Saunooke, told The New York Times.
In Baltimore for the Yankees' game against the Orioles on Saturday night, Rodriguez told reporters that he hadn't heard Canseco's comments about him. "And I have no comment," he told the newspaper.
Canseco has shared names of more players who used steroids with investigators looking into the issue for Major League Baseball. George Mitchell, the former Senate majority leader, was appointed by commissioner Bud Selig in 2006 to head the league's investigation into steroids in the sport.
Saunooke told The Times that Canseco planned to meet again with Mitchell and and his investigators in the next month.
Canseco attracted the attention of Congress with his autobiography, "Juiced," in which the former slugger named several players, including himself, Rafael Palmeiro and Mark McGwire, who he said had used steroids.

I can just image Bud Selig throwing stuff around his office having the same reaction when he heard that Canseco wrote a new book. I'm sure he really needed this right now in his life.

He has no credibility, non-story here.

45% complete.
i think thats an incorrect assumption. He was pretty much spot on with the previous book, no ones denying the claims or suing him. That says to me that they are pretty accurate. he is a pompous douche, but I don't think he was lying.
Everyone rags on Selig for not being truthful but now people want Canseco to shut up. Which is it, do you want the truth or do you want MORE people keeping their mouth shut. I say, the more people that come out with the truth at this point the better. MLB is not going to clean up it's image with everyone continuing to sweep things under the rug. I applaude Canseco. He's doing what people should have done 10 years ago.

He has no credibilty?
Well I guess if you keep your head buried in the sand and ignore the hearings, suspensions, etc, which were all DIRECTLY correlated to his insight, then yes, he has no credibility.
The general population knows most baseball players of the last 15 years used steroids and are ok with it...the only ones who care about this story are the so-called 'purists' who are watching their idols of years past (who likely used stimulants/'greenies' themselves) have their records broken, and the media.
If the general population were disgusted by steroids in baseball, attendance would be falling not rising. The truth of the matter is if Arod or whoever is implicated in Canseco's book, the only people will care will be those who hate Arod already. Everyone else? It won't bother them one bit.
i could care less who took them or who didnt no. when caminiti said 80% of the league was on them i tend to believe what he said. plus roids have been around since the 30's i believe so whos to say no one took them back then?
Maybe Jose saw A-Rod pounding some poo.. Who knows.
Gee, talk about jumping to conclusions

That is not true. Almost everything Canseco said in his first book turned out to be true. Give the guy some credit.
