1971 pete scan opions please

i just bought this card and it is in pretty good shape. what do you guys that have been doing this for awhile think?
i was looking every where for this card and with out spending a fortune i found this card. it looks off center a bit,has good corners, good picture, and as all of this year card has is the black border is coming off a bit.
does the card look like its worth sending in to grade. im trying to build my set with as few 7's as possible. really do not want any 6's unless i have to. but i will save to buy those cards. thanks for any opion on the grade, shape, or if its worth sending in. don russel

If there are no hidden wrinkles or creases, and no re-coloring, you may get a 6. Seems to be alot of chipping on the edges. Still hard to tell by the scan. Good luck with it!

I just looked at the scan of the back and I must say, it looks pretty sharp. I'll boost my opinion to a possible 7!

They're working now for me, too.

I'd say a 6 at best, or maybe a 7 (OC). Back looks nice, but the front is what PSA usually bases their grade on.

Those bottom corners are way too soft to get any higher than a 6. But blank backs are pretty hard to come by compared to the standard issue cards. That's not to say you can count on big premimums for them (you can't for the most part) but they're still very interesting collectibles.
