Player set additions

I have been able to increase the number of cards in the Johnny Bench Master set card registry to up to over 200 cards. Currently the set totals 204.

When you compare players from similar eras who missed out on the bulk of the flood of cards that were issued in the 1980's, I believe Bench's set is one of the most extensive. I am still searching for Bench's team issue postcards from 1967, 1968, and 1971 to include in the set.

player playing years # of cards in Master set
Bench 1967-1983 204
Yaz 1961-1983 185
Palmer 1965-1984 148
Stargell 1962-1982 144

I think the Bench set (from the era you mentioned) and the Schmidt set, from the era that goes through the 1980 issues, are the most extensive on the Registry in terms of cards that PSA can/will grade and those that are already included on the Registry.

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

    Marc,
I would agree. I think some of the team issued postcards are about the only thing lacking from the 70's for the Schmidt set as well. In terms of team issued postcards, nobody has that covered quite like what Kevin has done with the Tony Perez master set.
