Has anyone ever heard of any unusual Bulk Submissions or of Pre-Modern submissions?

In case this doesn't get a lot of attention on the U.S. coin forum...
Anyone ever heard of any unusual Bulk Submissions or of Pre-Moder submissions?
I'm talking pre 1955 coins, but don't want to hear about rolls/ bags of wheat cents, Morgans, or $20 gold coins.
I'm most interested in hearing if there have ever been any bulk Barber, Seated, or Bust coins submitted to PCGS or NGC. Also, if you know the results of the submission I think that would also be cool.
I'm sure there have been, but I've not heard much in these areas.
