At first I thought the current bid price in the $900's was high but the more I consider this graded
set the more I think they're worth beaucoup d'argent.
It strikes me that for 241 year-old coins to remain in such stellar condition and tone that beautifully,
they must have not moved from their original storage or display for centuries!
That takes discipline, understanding and wealth, so I'm envisioning a Tudor manor house in England
with a spacious high-ceilinged library chock-a-block with leather-bound books and coin cabinets.
