Why no 1985 Prestige Proof Set?

    I tend to think the same since that date is associated with the Silver Eagle program. The modern commems begin in 1982 with Washington (no news there), but there is no 1985 commemorative coin. If I had to guess, I'd say there is no 1985 Prestige set because there are no 1985 Commemorative coins. Perhaps this is because of the many 1984 Olympic designs?

    EricSan is correct. The Prestige Proof Set combines a regular proof set and one or two commems from the same year. There were no 1985 commems so as a result there were no 1985 Prestige Sets.
