WooHoo!!!!.....Just hit 50%

Downtown1974Downtown1974 Posts: 6,727 ✭✭✭✭✭
I know, small peanuts compared to some, but I am happy. Just hit 50% completion on my 1955 Topps baseball in PSA 6. This has been a fun set to do. I started it in March or April of this year. Hope to be done with it by Christmas. Just thought I would share my good news.

Thanks for the kind words guys. The 2nd half will be harder and more expensive. I have had alot of help from fellow board members. Detroitfan2 sold me 2 nice lots a while back. I bought a couple of cards from RipublicaninMass, and Steve (Winpitcher) gave me some great advice on what to look for when I started the set. So thanks to everyone that got me this far!

Any chance you need this, I'm not bragging, but it's probably the nicest '6' you will find of this card.

    Bob,
Congradulations so far 50% of the set in 3 or 4 months is extremely good. I love this set because you have a nice vintage set with limited cards issued compared to other sets and for the most part not real expensive except for the Clemente card. Best of luck.
