I attended the CNA in Niagara Falls Canada last week. It's the only international show I attend. Only missed one since 2000. Next year the CNA will be in Ottawa and I plan to attend.
I've heard that the TOREX shows in Toronto are pretty good. I'm sure Bosox can attest to them.

In my opinion, except for Randy Weir's table, I wouldn't call TOREX a numismatic goldmine, or anything, unless you're looking for Canadian material. And Randy knows very well what he has and the prices he can get away with charging. There are a few rare occasions when other dealer's have something nice, in terms of Darkside, but those are few and far in-between.

Don't come for just the coin shows.
The Australasian Numismatic Dealers Association runs the major coin shows in the country - one a year in most of the larger cities, with two a year in Sydney. They're usually 3-day events, with the local auction houses usually holding auctions to coincide with them. Still, from what I've read of the big American and European shows, ours are pretty small fairs by comparison. This year's annual show in Brisbane (held in May) was the largest here that I can recall, and there were some 40 dealers present.
The dealer specialties mix is typically around 40% "Liteside" (Australian), 40% "Darkside" (rest of the world/ancient/mediaeval) and 20% either non-numismatic (stamps) or accessories. The two Australian mints (Royal Australian Mint and Perth Mint) usually have a stand there, too, selling latest releases - both normally have a special release timed for each ANDA Show. The RAM normally have "Show-Mintmarked dollars", which are quite popular with the locals.
I normally manage to spend much of my annual collecting budget at the show, but then I only have this one to go to, unless I travel interstate.
So, unless you really need a big selection of Aussie stuff that you can't seem to get up there, or you happen to be coming here when a show's on... I wouldn't recommend crossing the equator for it.
