If you got a chance to meet him, he would be a neat person to talk to. As you may have noticed, he is the one who runs the monthly Metal Detecting Forum polls. John is a close forum friend and I would love to meet him one day, but with me in the Deep South and him in the Midwest, it doesn't seem likely. As to prehistoric artifacts, I have a really sweet E-notch point I won in one of his giveaways, and I am pretty sure he found it himself. He finds some really neat artifacts.
