Mexico 1898 Peso on Ebay - Original or Restrike

I have been interested in the 1949 restrikes of the Mexico 1898 peso for some time and wrote an article on them.
The Mexico City and San Francisco mints restruck the coins for Nationalist China.

The seller of this 1898 Mexico Peso claims that it is an original peso, not a restrike.
It is slabbed and certified by "Numismatic Guaranty Corporation" as Original and MS-63.

I looked at the coin pictures and I believe it is a restrike.

The marks of a restrike on this coin are:
The "o" in the mintmark "Mo" is higher than the "M".
The Eagle side has around 131 denticles, they are hard to count as there is some kind of black stain on the edge.
The Cap side has 134 denticles.

Hi Willie, you're right in that the original would have 140 beads, not 134. I would contact the seller with this information.

It took me a while but I did email the seller this evening with my concerns.

Sale ends 29 July at 0945 Pacific time.

I hope I am not being a "know it all" but I do have an interest in the odd coins because of their history.

"This coin was sent to NGC and they identified the coin as original, not a restrike"
