Going to order from BBCE on Monday or Tuesday- help me out

OK- I sold a portion of my rental properties and have a little extra cash and LOVE busting vintage wax with a chance of a decent return after I bust. For example do not like buying a 400.00 box and the best I can do is a Montana rookie in the 81's

I really love the 1986 Football cards and thought about busting some packs.

I also love the 86/87 fleer basketball set


I am going to spend somewhere around 500.00 on a order

I do like football and baseball and only basketball I like is 86/87 fleer

And ideas what a fun rip would be and what would be the best bang for my buck(PSA grading wise).

let me know and i will order on monday or tuesday and do the break here!

Anybody who comes up with the formula I use I will buy you a pack as well and have it sent to you from BBCE!

    Your best bet for a good return are 86 Topps FB (PSA 9-10s are red hot right now), 1983 Topps BB (3 big RCs), 1984 Topps FB (Marino, Elway RCs, plus low pop 10s bring good money), 1987 Topps FB (I pulled a Kelly 10 that paid for both boxes I busted, plus 4 other 10s), 1993 SP FB (most 10s sell well, a few nice RCs in the set), 1981 Topps BB (not many rookies but 10s sell well). These are my suggestions.

    Also, 86/87 Fleer is exciting to bust, but the return is not so great. Even if you buy 2 packs and pull an 8-ish Jordan, you're not really ahead.

    I just ordered some and had best luck with 84 and 86 FB. The 81 was bad. I didnt score any the big RC but did get a few. I only ordered a few packs of each. Good luck.

    The Fleer need no explanation nor do the vintage packs. The 77 Football is chock full of HOF'ers and the 86's are ones you personally like.
