There was another story about Fedex and some computer equipment that had them damaging a package that was INS for a large amount. The story ends up in court with Fedex losing alot of money due to what the courts considered bad business practices. I sure hope it was insured.

  • he only insured the package for $15K but says the cards included a $50K 1941 DiMaggio card. That would mean he had a raw, mint 41 Play Ball DiMaggio. If you thought you had a PSA 9 '41 DiMaggio, would you mail it and if you did, would you "under insure" it for $65K?

  • If the guy really did lose the cards, that is sad. If he is trying to collect on something he never had, well then he is scum.

I'm not positive but I think there's a limit to how much insurance you can put on something you send with fedex ups or usps. usps clerk wife thinks $5K on regular and $25K on registered.
