Brooklyn Dodgers on HBO

I assume numerous people on the board have seen this. I just finished watching this on HBO; has to be one of the best documentaries I have ever seen.

It was terrrific. I learned a lot of details, especially surrounding O'Malley's actions before the move west, that I didn't know.

HBO has a fine tradition of Baseball documentaries, going back to the three When It Was A Game episodes, running through the two Red Sox ones, the one about the Yankees after 9-11 and the one about the Cubs.

    Incredible documentary.

HBO does an incredible job on these. It feels like you're not watching tv, you're watching art, you're watching a masterpiece. The quality is just stunning.

This quote was pretty funny from a diehard Dodger fan...."if Hitler, Stalin and O'Malley were in a room, and you had two bullets, who would you shoot?"

    O'Malley twice!
