Is this PCGS Norwegian 50 Ore UNIQUE?

Of course, it isn't from Norway, but I thought you all might get a kick out of the intelligence exhibited by PCGS. image

By the way, my Krause is from 1901 to present. Would someone supply me with the value from their pre-1900 catelogue? image

Thanks in advance, and enjoy the images. image

Those dang Scandinavian coins are easy to get confused but the three crowns always means Sweden.
    Tempus fugit.
  • Oh, my goodness.....
Hope you didn't pay too much for that one.....
As far as Swedish coins are concerned, it seems to me that most of the collectors there value only high grade coins.
The Norwegian issues of 50 øre from 1874 and 1875 have a double denomination; 50 øre/15 skilling.

For some reason, Sweden just does not attract as much interest as Norway...

  • Actually, I paid $50, but I didn't buy it for the coin so much as for the PCGS mis-attribution. Maybe someday I'll sell it an an "error", a PCGS error that is.image

They do so, if it is the Swedish Bikini Ski Team!
