this should be a easy one for you guys,but for the life of me i cant find or remember what it came out of,and cant find anything in beckett fooball plus or the reg, had the same cards in baseball sometimes in 70's?, is topps,blue backed,thanx! randy
These were inserts in the 1971 Topps Football card packs. I remember when they came out. It seemed like I always got the yard marker cards instead of the players. I think there were just over 50 cards in the set, but I dont remember if that included the non-player cards.
dang you guys are quick lol,thanx for info, so it was in the regular packs, i was thinking it was part of a game or something, but i believe you are right now that i think about it,,thatll give me a lead as to if i can find the set now lol,if they would just put a date on the back of some of these older cards instead of t.g.c.thanx randy

Actually, it was meant to be a game. It's now referred to as the 1971 Topps Game Inserts, which were inserted into 1971 football packs. There are 53 cards total, 1 of the cards is the field marker / 1st down card. The game board (field) and instructions are printed on back of the 1971 Topps Poster pin up inserts.
