Somebody is going to be sorry after the auction excitement wears off and they realize that there are a bunch more of these on their way , could have bought a 95w and 4 ungraded sets
I have some raw sets and they will stay that way for a long time. Some day a 23 yr old kid might buy them from me on ebay for $3 Grand, and then turn around and resell them for $50,000. Sheesh.
Q: Are You Printing Money? Bernanke: Not Literally
<< <i>Somebody is going to be sorry after the auction excitement wears off and they realize that there are a bunch more of these on their way , could have bought a 95w and 4 ungraded sets >>
a very timely statement.
I was shocked at the sales price and also....another with a opening bid of $3599 for just a single coin. went un~sold. and is relisted....something is up or down, or fishy.
The set that sold 70/70/70 was just an assemled set of 70's for over 7K would have made the single coin over $5k which is a price that I sure would depart mine for.
<< <i>Yes! Three Coin Designation. I was going beyond that, but that is by far, the primary.
7/8 is also correct. I see a re-holder as worth it. Another thing is matching up the Mint Kits with all the parts:
Outer US Mint Plastic Bag w/ Holes - everyone throws this out not knowing this bag is part of the Set. the Certificate of Authenticity the (2) part A10 US Mint Box (Lid and Base Box) the A10 US Mint Slip Cover the White Lining Cloth the US Mint Display Case the empty capsules that held the coins
The funny thing is that the 'scarcity' factor plays into the lable game, i.e. there is a shortage of 20th MS and 20th PR Coins to match up with the 250K RP coins. I've been scooping some of 20th MS and 20th PR Coins up as of late. >>
I didn't think you could reholder just to get a sequential number? I know how to submit to get them that way, but it takes listing every single coin on the submission sheet.
also there's only 250k of the boxes as well, if they go up in price who knows...boxes are cheap now, too

Items for sale...$2,000 Dollars.. coins not included..
<< <i>Because they submitted the 30 coins as 10 RP, 10 MS and 10 PR, instead of 30 lines as 3 for easch set.
Instead, they just did 3 lines on the form.
PCGS lumps them all together. <snip> >>
Yeah, I did that when I submitted my 5box the first time (only time I submitted) and almost got consecutives but was wondering why they were just off......

PCGS lumps them all together. OR he bought it and cobbled the set. You will never know unless they produce the submission.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Fond memories of the good ole days...
