You guessed it - the Giants start a series tomorrow night in Milwaukee. For those that don't know, that is Bud Selig's hometown. I wonder if he will be there. Hmmm?

go figure he might to it against hanks old team.
i no a lot of people hate this guy. but i respect him for the fact that the media and fans tried to break him but couldnt do it.
and so many athletes have taken steroids in the 90's. and still do now. its about time to end the witch hunt on this one player.
golf stated there is a player taken it in the pga. god forbid someone like tiger woods tested positive.
i hope he breaks the record in the next week. so this whole thing can be put to rest.
plus i think the media has a bigger fish to fry now. mike vick is going to be a story as big as the oj simpson trial!
It probably won't happen, but Bond's has already made a wise crack about not breaking the record until next year.
I assume that the Giant's ownership and management are secretly hoping that the breaking of 755 by Bonds happens as soon as possible so that they can lay claim to the "Home Run King" being a Giant and then quietly show him the door to the American League (the Angels?) wher he can be a DH until he is 60

<< <i>Whenever it happens it will happen in San Fran. He won't try to jack one out away from home because he doesn't want to get booed when he does it. He'll want the dopey San Fran fans cheering so he can pretend that the whole world is happy for him. You wait and see. >>
'Dopey' SF fans? Not sure that really is necessary. Were the fans 'dopey' in NY for cheering Giambi, a self-professed steroid user?
Back on topic, Bonds will not hit the record breaking home run on the road - it will surely happen in SF.
Not too long ago, the 'Stros organization was castrated for sitting Biggio.
Bonds does it and not one peep.
Some people can be such hypocrites.
That is all.
That is all.

Joining the 3000 hit club is nowhere near as momentus as breaking baseball's most hallowed of hallowed records. The loyal fans of SF deserve to have it hit in front of them.

<< <i>I think the Brewers pitchers should throw Bonds 80-85 mph fastballs down the middle with no movement. He isnt going to try and jack one....what a disservice that would be to his team if he purposely did not do the best he could. That would prove some big time selfishness....but then again, it isnt anything we dont already know. >>
Being Bud Selig's team (ok, a team still within the family - didn't he turn it over to his sister?) do you think he he would have some input that "throwing 80-85 mph fastballs down the middle with no movement" is not in the best interest of baseball?
i also think aaron is a big cry baby if he will not be there for the record homer.
