Seats in shade at Shea?

I will be visiting NY soon and thinking of taking in a Mets game (already going to Yankees). I have my eye on a Sunday day game. Does anyone know what area of the stadium is usually in the shade at Shea during day games?

LOL, Wow, Steve, I hadn't heard from you in a while since the Phils started sliding back down in the standings where they belong...I was getting worried...Glad to see you're OK, even if the Sillies aren't!

Sliding where? We've been in first place since Opening Day! LOL!

<< <i>The seats located in the "Rest Room" area are the best seats at Shea to watch the Mets play. >>
For female fans, the best seats at Shea are also located in the "Rest Room" area marked "Ladies" - No real difference in the atmosphere of the seats because many parts of the stadium smell like the "Rest Room" areas. Shea should be torn down and sold for scrap - it's worth more money that way. Then the Mets could move to another city out west like the Brooklyn Dodgers or New York Giants.
Actually, a new state of the art stadium is being built right now next to Shea and Shea will be torn down in 2 years!

I attended Shea as a kid when it first opened back in 1964. Was certainly much more enjoyable to watch a ballgame there than Yankee Stadium at that time.
I still have the Shea programs and yearbook for 1964. I'd post scans but it's not a rare item and I think most Mets memorabilia fans probably have this yearbook.

Nice! I'd love to see it!

Well I just looked at it, and it's in "almost" pristine condition and I only have an HP flatbed scanner so I don't want to have to bend the book pages to scan it. I haven't looked on ebay in awhile for this, but last time I did they sell for only about 20 bucks if I'm remembering right. It is a very nicely done yearbook - well worth the money to a Mets fan or any baseball fan.
