    These error bits, esp from the mid-60s and in 3d denomination frequently show up in UK auctions and I have seen lots of even 4 or 5 pieces go for 100 pounds. This price is way past excessive.

    I agree, absolutely, with all comments made!

    That error however, stands out from virtually every other coin error I've seen. It looks unique and I'd rather have it than any number of new US Presidential dollar "errors" I've seen go for stupid money.image
