Home PSA Set Registry Forum

Attention 1967 Topps Baseball people: variation help, please.

Does any one have a scan (or a link to a scan) of the back of the error version of card #402 Phillies Rookies with the incomplete stat line?

I bought a PSA 8 (see below) some time back which says “Incomplete Line” on the flip. But no matter which way I look at it, it looks complete to me. I’ve seen the other cards in the set with incomplete lines and it doesn’t look like them. Before I send it back to PSA along with other Mechanical Error candidates, I’d love to satisfy my mind by taking a look at a definite error scan.

Thanks for your help,
Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan,

    Your card is mislabelled.

Here is a scan of the incomplete stats back:

  • Jeff & Larry -

Many thanks for the speedy clarification - I'll get it changed.

I probably slightly overpaid for the more common variation, but as I needed both anyway, it's really no great loss.

    Thanks again,
    Jonathan

I just checked my 67T #402 and it appears to be "neither of the above" compared to the two already shown. The line on my example is about 3/4 complete. Is this a third type of variation or close enough to deem it as "complete"? Any opinions? The flip (label) does not list any type of variation.

Not sure what your flip says but this should be incomplete stats version.

    Jeff,

The flip mentions neither, but you raise a good point. Anything that isn't complete is incomplete whether it's almost all gone or only 25% gone.
