What the hell? I just picked up an 87 OPC Clemens PSA 10 1/1 for under $50 and thought it would go for at least $80, but wouldn't have been surprised if it went for $200. What brings crazy money is so completely arbitrary it's ridiculous.

And to think, I was just about to throw my $23.50 bid down.

It went from $105 to $449 in the last 6 seconds of the auction. Nice.

Wow...I hope there are a lot of Winfield collectors! I just sent in a 1979 OPC Winfield that HAS to hit an easy 9!

don't think the buyer got busted , there are many yaz collectors who bid aggresively and when they win whatever the cost are very happy with their purchase. both bidders that sniped would have been happy to win , I am sure the underbidder is more upset that he didn't go higher that the buyer is that he won.

I had to say that sentence about 4 times befiore I understood it. LOL I think the 2nd "that" needed to be a "than", and im pretty sure there needed to be a comma somewhere. image
