Questions about crossover grading

I have several cards graded by BVG, GAI and others that I am submitting to PSA.

1. Does PSA accept all competitors slabs?
2. Can I submit a mix of slabs with one submission form?

3. When cracking and submitting cards yourself, how do you crack these slabs?

Thanks for your responses!

    1. Yes
    2. Yes
    3. Depends...Each company uses different types of slabs..SGC being one of the easiest and BVG/GAI being a couple of the hardest. For the BVG and GAI, what I do is use a pair of pliers to break off an upper corner of the slab, then insert a very small screwdriver and pry it open from the top. Make sure you never have the screwdriver aimed towards the card, because one slip and you could gouge the card. Meaning pry it with the screwdriver facing east=west along where the label is in the slab..Once you get a screwdriver in there they come open fairly easily.

  • Thanks Jason. I'm practicing on some BCCG slabs... so far so good! image
