Griffey Error...Is this common?

Had this for a while, Its missing the foil stamp of his name and Studio Logo.

Is this a common error?

    I guess it would depend on what you call common. No printing error, such as that, or black front, black back, missing hologram or the like is that common. You can also pretty much assume that if it happened once during the printing, it likely happened again.

    These cards typically have little value except to player collectors. As a general rule, an error card not listed in one of big catalogues, does not carry a premium.

    My eBay guess value of the Griffey card, $5.00.
