1997 Tiger Woods 'GOLD' question...

In what product can you pull the more expensive 'GOLD' variation. I see that it comes in unopened boxes which are complete sets. I have seen a 'black' box and a lighter colored box (maybe yellow). Does anyone know if the 'GOLD' variation can be pulled out of either type box or just the black box or just the light box.

Here's an interesting, if depressing read on beckett, that I think best sums up my opinion on grading modern cards with huge print runs. If there's virtually unlimited product to pull from, overpaying for a "low pop" card is just idiocy.
And can you imagine getting 3,000 cases at one time?
