Is it me or is Beckett's website the slowest site on the net?

Been going there for past month or so and almost every time i click a new thread, it takes forever to get to it.

Seem to remember it being like that back in 2001 too (last time I was into collecting)

same from everyone or just me?

It is not just you, I think all those sig. lines slow it down!!!

I think it's definitely those ridiculous sig pics that every poster there feels the need to add to every single post made. If you need information about modern cards and wax, it's still a decent source of information. But, you really need the patience of a saint, and the conversational skills of a high school kid to wade through all the bull.

unless you are a 7th grader, stay away from beckett....

Beckett has never been an efficient board.
I'm building a 1968 and a 1970 Topps set. I have lots of 1970s and 1960s to offer in trade.
  • Zep, thanks for this post!

Beckett's online price guide moves like Nate Newton running the 440 Hurdles.

Naxcom is slower (for me, at least), but beckett isn't fast by any means.

Looking for Jonny Gomes cards, especially Triple Threads and printing plates. Will consider all cards, though. Got something? Contact me at c_u_l_1@yahoo.com

Sig lines that are long and short, like yours, which is also decently small kb wise, are fine I think.
