Help with 67 Mantle Checklist Variation...pics attached

Hi everyone,

There are two variations for this checklist...one has card #170 with a period after the the letter D in D McAuillfe and one does not. Can someone tell me if the first scan would be considered the "no period" variation as it is certainly different from scan number two??

I don't doubt it, I just don't see it in my giant beckett annual.

These are the two variations of this card. Although SCD lists it as a dot, no dot variation, Dick Gilkeson properly describes the variation in his Baseball Variation Book publication as "period distinct" and "period is a line"
    Topps Baseball-1948, 1951 to 2017
    Bowman Baseball -1948-1955
    Fleer Baseball-1923, 1959-2007

What Al Bishop says is correct. I have both in raw form myself.

    Good for you.
