    Nice card!

The sky's the limit on an Aaron PSA 10 pop 1/1.

Auction it off and see how much you get for it.

Please post a scan of it if you have the time. I'm sure many
    would love to see it.

Did you have that card yourself for a long time or did you find it
    at a show recently?

    That is amazing !
After so long it grades a 10 .
    Congratulations on that .

Did you happen to pull that yourself way back in the days of old , when knights were bold and rubber wasn't invented ?

Please scan if you can . . . that would be some treat .

Thank you and I'm gonna say with numbers such as those I'm willing to bet you have a lot of lookers with deep pockets trying to own that card . . . . .over 10 K .

There are 26 set listings in the PSA Registery for 68 Topps Game. About half are 100%.

Then you will have all the Aaron Master player set collectors.

If you put it on Ebay, I would make sure all the set collectors receive an e-mail to let them know a 1/1 is up for auction.

    Congrats and best of luck.

9s have gone for as much as $153 on Ebay in the last 10 months, with the average of the last 5 sales at $85.

I see no sales of any grade equivalent to a 10 in the last year so it's possible that none exist in any companies holder.

Couldn't find a pop report at all for Topps Game with SGC but maybe I looked in the wrong spot.

With a PSA pop of 1, why not inquire with an auction house? It can't hurt to ask. All of the major collecting players will then see it.

I agree with contacting those on the Registry if you put it on Ebay.

Over 10K? Perhaps if an auction house lists it and a bidding war ensues. I would say a guaranteed 4-5K no matter how you sell it?

Oh, I could definitely see a bidding war on this one .
I never expected to see that Gem mint rookie Elway go for more than 4 grand but it got 10 , which floored me completely .

I can't help but wonder how the grader feels about making someone out there really really happy when they slap a gem mint on something like that .

congrats! i would probably go the way of a feature auction on ebay. the extra expense up front will be worth it. good luck.

I would love to put a scan up but they havent came back from Psa yet, and Ill be going on vacation for the next 2 weeks Ill be back at the end on the month then Ill put up some scans of All the game cards I had graded. How I came accross the card is I went to a card show I met this gentelman and asked if he had any 1968's baseball the gentelman replied yes I do so he went to the back and pulled a 1/2 inch binder full of 68's. I thought they were going to be in VG-EX cards. When I opened the book all of them are NM-MT he said that he just purchase them from an old gentelman a few days ago. So I pull out almost all the cards he had in there, which were about 143 cards wasent even thinking of the game cards because I didnt collect them but then I remember that my wife said that she would like a couple. So thats how I picked it up. When I got home I had that look on my face like I spent alot of money she just nodded her head. Then I spent alot more getting them all graded thats when the wife went through the roof. Well to make a long story short now she is letting me go to another card show today image

Not to burst your bubble, but PSA doesn't update the pop reports daily-- they do so every Monday. So, the fact that there's already a PSA 10 in the database tells you that your PSA 10 is, in fact, a 1/2, not a 1/1. It's still a great card obviously, but I bring this up only so you don't accidentally misrepresent this card with a '1/1' notation in the auction title should you choose to sell it on Ebay.

Re: value. Who knows? I'm going to guess it would auction for $1100-$1400.

That's a more reasonable projection. If it is indeed a 1 of 2, it might not even get that high - IMHO.

I'm thinking the recent wave of Aaron nostalgia might give the card a boost. This is probably the best time to sell Aaron cards in the past 5 years, so the OP's timing couldn't be better.

Also, I thought the 1974 Nolan Ryan stamp PSA 10 wouldn't sell for more than $400, and it went off for $1500. So what do I know? Maybe this is a $4K card. For the OP's sake I hope it is!

Edit to add: Here's the sale of a PSA 10 1/3 Aaron . Maybe this will be of some help.

There are a couple plausible explanations--- but I think the most reasonable is that God just doesn't like you.

Boo, please- We like to use the phrase "big guy upstairs" around here.
  • I am by no means an expert, but I have the #3 Aaron Master set, and although I cannot speak for for #'s 1, 2, 4, 5 and so on...I can say that as the Aaron master set has grown to be one of, if not the largest vintage player master set, and as the card in question carries a weight of only one, I have a tough time thinking that Doug, Coach or myself would go very deep for this card for a mere bump from 9 to 10 with only a weight of 1. I know that my money would be better spent elsewhere in picking up the oddball stuff missing from my registry, a set that I may mention has grown over 75 issues in the last twenty-four months. Again I am not an expert but thousands of dollars sounds pretty wild to me...and although a great card I should think $600 - $800, don't quit your day job, flip it on the bay (forget auction houses) and use spell checker...just my two centavos gentlemen!

I agree, when i saw some here touting 1000's for this card I nearly fell off my chair. IMO if it gets 400.00 Id be amazed.

1968 Topps games cards are not that hard to come by, and even if this is a 1/2 it just does not inspire me into thinking it is some rare card.

sorry to pee into the pie.

    Steve
    Good for you.

That's what I thought. But we saw what happened with the 1974 Ryan stamp, so who knows.
