Garrett Ace 250 Or Whites Prism II? Which one do you guys think is better and why?

    I went with the White's unit.
    Why? Ease of use..Turn on and go.
    I have top of the line units for my use, I just needed an easy detector for the guest/grand kids to use.

    The Ace is also a good unit. They both make good back up units for when you upgrade to a better detector.

    I have never used a Whites Prizm II but do own an Ace 250, so all I can say is that the Ace 250 has done very well for me and is also very easy to use, light weight, and has some really good features for the price.

    Never had the Prizim...

    But have the Ace 250... and you wont hear me complaining!!!

    Haven't used either machine myself, but they both look like good units.
    I haven't heard any clinching argument that would clearly make one better than the other.
    Your experience with the machine and your skill in finding good sites is what will make the difference in finds.

    I ended up gettint the PRISM III!!! And wow great machine impresses me
