Why the scam?

I assume its a scam as I have no clue who this is. What would be their benefit of me responding? Said he shipped it Sunday but DC # is real and says shipped on Wed the 11th ? I never asked any sellers wheres my stuff though I have alot incoming. The man at the P.O told him to ship it media mail on Sunday ?? If I respond is there any chance of harm?

geez. media mail. what a cheapo. Could take 2 weeks for it to arrive and he's right, they do have the right to return it. They've been known to inspect media mail packages to make sure they really are books/cd's etc.
