1998 Topps Gold Label 1/1 Danny Kanell ....What Class is it? Help

The big football becketts have the explanation of each class. It is a combination of the pictures in the background and what jersey the player is wearing so if someone could help I would appreciate it. Kanell has few 1/1 cards since his career ended before the 1/1 boom. He was a NY Giants starter and FSU Alum. This set is also pretty popular. What do you think this card might fetch on ebay?

It's the "Giant Kannell in Home Jersey Overtakes the Lilliputian Kannell in Visiting Jersey Before Both Fade Into Obscurity" version.

    Thanks for nothing guys haha.

There is a Class 1, 2, and 3. They are all different and have various photographs on them. Not sure which one this is.

If I understand correctly, the 1/1's are truly 1/1's. They didn't make a 1/1 for each class, just one for each player. So instead of having a Kanell 1/1 for class 1, class 2, and class 3, there is only one 1/1. Therefore, this Danny Kanell has no class.

Lee did you read that in Beckett or something? On Beckett.com the list a 1/1 from each class so I am not sure.
  • It is the Red, as is says so on the card. There is a 1/1 for the red, black & the regular.

Although a great older 1/1, I would imagine it wouldn't pull in more than $10 or so.....but that is just a guess

Oh, maybe I'm wrong. That was the way I understood their weird tier program when I bought the cards back then.

From memory, there were 9 1/1's for each player in that set: Each of three colors and three classes in all combinations. I don't know hoe to tell the classes apart, but if you're selling, I doubt potential buyers would care.

Everytime I hear Danny Kanell I cringe.

I was playing in a fantasy football game with a slim lead going into Monday Night Football and my opponent had the Dallas defense. Observe what Danny Boy did here:
    Prime Timed

So you say quit your whining everyone has a bad beat now and again.

I agree until the following season when Danny Kanell moves to Atlanta. Here am I again with a slim lead going into Monday Night Football and my opponent had the Dallas defense. What are the odds of playing against the Dallas defense two straight years on a Monday night with a slim lead and Danny Kanell now on a new team is the Dallas opponent. Check out what he did in the last minute of this one:

Next time please take a knee

He ended his career with 34 ints and 31 td passes with 5129 yards and a 51.4% completion rate, went to the Arena League and was an MLB prospect. I still will never forgive those inteceptionsimage
