Murphy's Law

In the last few weeks I have busted 2 wax boxes of 1979 OPC baseball.
Sorted through them today.
I got 1 Ozzie Smith rookie and 5 of card #121...... a friggin' checklist. It ain't fair. image

I have 1 more box on the way. We'll see what happens.

Seems to me someone on here bought a box from BBCE and pulled 2 Ozzies. Did you get the box from a reputable source?

It's only happened to me one time with it going the other way. About a year ago I busted a 1981 Topps FB cello box and pulled 3 Montana's. So instead of the Emanuel Zanders box, I got the Montana box. Sorry yours couldn't be the Ozzie Smith box.

The box I got from BBCE was pretty much all OC. No Ozzie in that box. The other I got from Ebay, better collation and better centered. I also bought another box on Ebay. Hopefully it will be here this week.

I forgot about the 1984 Topps football rack pack I got from BBCE. It had 2 Marino, 2 Stephenson and a Dickerson. I guess that evens it out. Pretty good cards in one pack. The Marinos graded PSA 7 and PSA 8.

So I guess it evens out in the long run.
