Questions about unopened 80's baseball...

Hey guys, I've been getting really tempted to roll the dice and purchase some older unopened baseball boxes/cases. I've mainly been looking at 81 to 85 Topps and maybe 84 Donruss. I'd really like to go for an '80 Topps but that's probably a bit out of my price range for now.
Anyway, here are my questions:
- Looks to me like BBCE is probably one of the most reliable when it comes to unopened stuff... is that about right? Any others to check out?
- In this time period, what are your thoughts on best condition probabilities by type? For instance, my opinion would be RakPak best, followed by either Wax or Cello. I've heard bad stories about Cello corners being bad from being wrapped too tightly for over 20 years, but that shouldn't be a problem with RakPaks cuz they are not packaged that tightly... right?
- Assumption: With RakPak or Cello, it's obviosly much more important to buy from a reputable dealer due to searchability (stars on top/bottom) and sequencing predictability. True?
- How do you feel BBCE's prices are, relative to what you could find on ebay?
Thanks in advance for your feedback!

BBCExchange is one of the safest places to get unopened from. Steve over there is very customer oriented.
Racks, Wax, Cello--in that order. I would steer away from cellos though if you are planning to rip.
Ebay is a crap shoot. For every dealer like Steve, you find 100 like Gary

Looking for Al Hrabosky and any OPC Dave Campbells (the ESPN guy)
forget about eBay. Go with BBCE and pay a few bucks extra
