don't know much about the nba summer leagues, but good to see brewer breakin with 16 pts and 8 boards in his first pro game (albeit summer leagues).

also netted 4.4m for 2 years.

I think he may be one of the best to come out of this draft. He is tall, quick, and can shoot it almost as good as I can!

i hope he is. he had a nice 2nd game with 13 boards but only 8 points. had an off night shooting. hopefully he will become a household name.

I wish the Bucks had drafted him instead if YI, who doesn't want to play for us. The Bucks need defensive help and some better athletes which Brewer would provide. They don't need a 7' perimeter player that they compare to a Toni Kukoc type. Brewer would have been a great pick for the Bucks. Even Brandon Wright would have been a welcome addition. The Bucks are in trouble for years to come with their poor personal moves.

Best example: they draft Dirk N. and trade him for Tractor '300 lb.' Traylor who eats his way out of the NBA. They thought he would be another Barkley and they ended up with another 'Dinner Bell' Mel Turpin. How sad.

from what i understand, brewer thought he was going to milwaukee or charlotte. minnesota was a shock to him as well.

ouch! just realized brewer is out for the year with ACL injury. he had lost his starting job but was doing better on a very bad team...ugh
