That, my friends, was pathetic!

That guy at the All Star game had a chance to win $1 Million. All he had to do was hit a ball 280 ft off of a FREAKIN' TEE! He didn't even get it out of the infield. If I was him, I think I would go hide for about 10 years. The first 2 didn't even get past the pitcher's mound.
Oh, for a chance like that!
I also thought Fox's reaction was hilarious - after the guy hit his 3rd one, they just mentioned that the All Star game was up next and went to a commercial break. They didn't even mention it!

when he walked up I told my wife, watch this geek.
clearly never played a lick of baseball in his entire life.
my 4 and 6 year old daughters could have done as well and my 9 year old boy would have certainly brought home some cash for dad.
That guy is going to be subject to a lot of ridicule over the next few days, especially tomorrow with very little sports news.
<< <i><<If you saw this guy swinging, you'd think differently...no athletic ability whatsoever, his first two didn't even get out of the infield.>>
I'm sure you guys are right about the particular individual but to phrase the actual contest in terms of "all he had to do was hit a ball 280 ft off of a FREAKIN' TEE" is not anywhere near an accurate reflection of the difficulty involved. If it were 200 ft, then okay, but even that wouldn't be a gimme under the circumstances.. In fact, hitting if off a tee in 3 tries to 280 ft or greater IMO is MUCH HARDER than sinking a basket from the half court line on one try. And the concept that a 9 year old could do this is ridiculous. >>
I agree!
