Anyone here deal with this seller before? This look legit to you?
It just seems an odd way to sell wax.....spread out like that for the picture. No box.
ugh. I wish I wasn't so easily hypnotized by 1982 Topps. They came out before I was had any clue what baseball was. The color scheme is reminiscent of a bag of skittles. There's that sissy swoosh in the design. I have no rational reason for liking these so much.
sigh.

Thanks for the lesson, sir.

I recently sold some 1980 football wax this way on eBay (from a larger lot I purchased - no wax box) and the buyers were happy.
<< <i>Not everything on the market has been searched or tampered with. >>
I agree and with this sellers feedback I doubt these are searched and re-sealed.
However, I tend to agree Bosox1976 on this item.
<< <i>Topps came over his house and did that in 1982 and they haven't been touched since. >>
I would have paid thirty-five cents per pack for that instead of twenty-five. Donruss did come and clean my room, though, in 1983, before the '84 set gave them all big heads over there.
<< <i>I imagine he opened boxes until he got a ripken, then put the remainder of each unopened, ripken-free box in this lot. Bid as if you are 100% certain that no ripkens will appear. >>

That's certainly how some do it, BUT the last box of '82 wax I opened, I found 4 Ripken rookies. And of course there are boxes that contain no Ripken rookies. I think each pack has the same chance of having a Ripken rookie regardless of what the other packs from the same box contained.
