This ain't even close
Someone consigned an very small accumulation of gold to me, including two of these. I'll probably return them and recommend they be made into earrings. I'm not even sure how much gold is in them. I've also thought of putting them on a train track or drilling out a cent, inserting one, and running it through an elongate-o-matic machine at a show.

<< <i>what's the weight of these? I'll give spot for it >>
Supposedly the two together have 0.0967 oz. gold, which would be just south of $65. I don't know if the alloy is "lean," though.

They would make good earrings. I could do that for my girlfriend. She'd love it if you have two , let me know.

<< <i>that's a pretty lousy fake. >>
I agree. It would be a neat educational piece if purchased cheaply though.
